Magic workshop with Martin Iarrera

 

The goal of the workshop is for participants to work together to create an entertaining magic show, which will be presented at the end of the workshop. This includes both professional props and everyday magic tricks using materials such as playing cards, coins, paper, and a pen. This workshop not only offers magical entertainment but also strengthens presentation skills, self-confidence, and team cohesion – all with a high fun factor.

 

Contents of the workshop

 

• Introduction to the art of magic

• Learning several magic tricks – in whole and small groups

• Practice with professional magic props

• Techniques for convincing presentations (speech magic, possibly with music)

• Joint development of a short final presentation

• Conscious language: emphasis, intonation, speech rhythm

• Clear and understandable articulation

• Storytelling and building suspense

• Body language and stage presence

• Eye contact and interaction with the audience

• Self-confident appearance – even when suffering from stage fright

Final presentation

 

The workshop ends with a small internal magic show, in which the participants

Participants will demonstrate the tricks they've learned in a humorous and charming way – a highlight for everyone involved and an ideal team moment. The show could also be integrated into a dinner in conjunction with a performance by Martin Iarrera.

 

Materials & Equipment

 

Professional magic props and materials are provided on loan. One set of playing cards per "sorcerer's apprentice" is included.
